Courses are delivered through a structured series of texts, supported by customized workbooks, teacher guides, dictionaries, and other supplementary materials that offer teachers and students strong support. Course components include the following: explicit instruction of phonemic awareness and phonics, vocabulary development and reading comprehension, and fluency development through practice with decodable short stories.

These feature phonetic CVC and CVCe words, blends, and digraphs that correspond to the phonics lesson just learned to solidify the associated phonics lessons. Events in the stories are closely linked to attractive illustrations. Some of the most fascinating characters in storytelling come in traditional tales for young readers. Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and her stepsisters, and many other captivating figures are presented in accessible texts, with dictionaries, workbooks, and CDs.

The workbooks encourage students to practice new vocabulary for optimum learning and retention. The early levels provide pre-writing activities and a careful guide to forming lower-and uppercase letters correctly. The course emphasizes neat and correctly formed handwriting, letter spacing in words, and word spacing in sentences.

Practice is encouraged at every stage with clearly printed text models that allow students to trace or copy individual letters, words, whole sentences, and poems. Later workbooks are based on the world-renowned Dolch-Fry lists, and practice words with common phonetic or structural elements.

The program connects spelling with phonics, vocabulary, and writing to promote success for our students. The course breaks the complexities of the structure of the English language into bite-sized pieces and explains it in ways that are easy to understand.

It contains a digest of all grammatical points taught in Levels E - H, complete with exercises on each point. The color scheme reflects the level of the concept. Confusion fuzzies draw attention to elements of grammar or punctuation that students often get wrong.

The readers have been carefully researched by a team of dedicated writers. The readers are historically accurate and often draw on or contain direct quotations from primary sources to give an accurate representation of the cultures and peoples of the past.

While maintaining every effort to remain as faithful to the factual events as possible, the writers skillfully weave historical facts into an engaging and informative narrative. The texts are accompanied by customized dictionaries, workbooks, and teacher guides. The basic readers are complemented by a series of supplementary readers. Students study classic and contemporary texts, paired with workbooks and interactive instructional tools.

All texts and ancillary materials incorporate the principles of the Common Core State Standards and are designed for students to develop their skills in a progressive sequence. Covering a wide range of topics through paired fiction and nonfiction texts, the selection meets the needs of emerging readers and lays the foundations for developing literacy.

Through exposure to critical essays, students develop skills to analyze arguments and reasoning in texts. Writing skills are essential to success in school and beyond. Writing grammatically correct English that is appropriate to the task is a mark of having attained a fine education. Consistent application of this framework focuses instruction on specific skills and instills good habits of mind in student writers. Students follow a standard writing process to produce a well-written sample of each genre.

Models, graphic organizers, projects, and a variety of writing prompts help students discover and develop ideas for their writing. Students are encouraged to express themselves coherently and imaginatively while being made aware of the way their writing abilities are developing lesson by lesson. The mathematics series also includes accelerated books for primary mathematics, algebra, and geometry.

The Kindergarten and Elementary Math book series begins with the introduction of basic shapes, colors, and numbers and ends with mastery of basic skills in arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, number comparisons, word problems, and multiplication.

From one level to the next, the tools of arithmetic evolve in a harmonious manner. Geometry and data are also introduced, and a workbook that includes a variety of exercises accompanies each textbook. The symbolic language of algebra is introduced and developed. Containing a full treatment of the basics of polynomials, the series covers functions and their graphs, solutions of linear and quadratic equations, and inequalities.

After a brief introduction to the subject of logic, Geometry 1, 2, and 3 introduce the undefined terms of geometry and a set of postulates, as the building blocks of the subject. The main topics covered in this series are properties and theorems of angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, and circles. In addition, the series covers plane transformations and geometric measurements. It adopts the integrated pathway as recommended by the CCSS.

The topics covered in this series range from solving equations, inequalities, and system of equations to functions and their properties. Modeling with functions is especially emphasized. The series also covers a full range of topics on geometry and data. The Mathematical Studies series covers a broad area of mathematics, from equations and functions to data analysis, and includes a quick overview of geometry and trigonometry.

An extensive set of exercises provides a supplement to the material in the book. In addition to sequences and the binomial theorem, the Pure Mathematics book introduces calculus topics such as derivatives and integrals with applications to trigonometric, logarithmic, and other functions.

A selection of topics geared toward preparing students to tackle calculus are combined to make up the Precalculus textbook. Strong emphasis is placed on elementary functions. This book also includes a variety of topics that take students to the end of the A-level course.

This introductory series covers the counting techniques necessary to compute probabilities of events for discrete distributions. Continuous distributions are treated in depth. Statistical methods necessary for finding confidence intervals and for hypothesis testing are also introduced. The book is suitable for the Advanced Placement Statistics.

Data and geometry are also briefly covered. Accelerated Algebra and Accelerated Geometry provide a quick overview of all the tools necessary to pursue further studies in mathematics, leading to calculus. In this bilingual series, every page of the English version has its translated mirrored version. This approach helps new students with difficulties in English, while improving their language skills. K Algebra 3 Questions M Mathematics Level M Questions This series offers various descriptive, experimental, and quantitative concepts spanning the fields of biology, Earth and space, physics, and chemistry.

The Exploring the World of Science book series has been developed to meet various international curricula in a stimulating style. This program is written using a modular approach to provide comprehensive coverage of various US state standards and other international standards. The program can be custom-tailored to cater to the needs, requirements, and qualifications specific to each region.

The science topics are divided into life science, physical science, and Earth and space. In these topics, various US state standards and other international standards converge to produce a comprehensive program that allows students in different regions to take any exams they need—state, national, or international.

Lab Investigation is an activity carried out during a lab session. It puts into practice the scientific methods in which students are asked to observe, collect and analyze data, and take their understanding to a further level with the Further Investigation part. Trends in Science is a short paragraph followed by several questions.

End-of-section questions help students test their understanding and establish scientific connections between different learning points.

The biology course offers an integrated approach to life sciences. It covers the fundamental principles of cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, plant anatomy, human anatomy, evolution, diversity, classification, and ecology.

Basic questions are application Diagrams summarize concepts questions in which the students test their and processes to promote understanding of the concept learned. The chemistry course tackles, in the first part, the basic notions of chemistry such as atomic theory and structure, chemical reactions and their rates, the gas phase, the condensed phases of matter, the periodic table, and the energy effect.

In the second part of the course, students study chemical equilibrium, solubility equilibrium, aqueous acids and bases, electrochemistry, quantum numbers, hybridization of orbitals, and organic chemistry. The curriculum offers the knowledge, as well as the analytical and reasoning skills, to prepare students for international qualifications, such as IGCSE, AP exams, and A-levels. The physics books include qualitative and quantitative applications on a wide spectrum of topics, including mechanics, atomic and nuclear physics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and waves.
